To help you find the right school for your interests and goals, we’ve compiled a list of 2022’s best master’s in physical therapy programs.

- University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA
The University of Southern California has a 115-unit degree program in physical therapy. The degree program is made up of six semesters and two summer classes. Also, the institution has made it obligatory as part of their coursework during all three years to get clinical experience during studies. To finish studies with success, learners need to earn a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 in all of their classes.
- The University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA
The University of Pittsburgh has a full-time degree program that leads to a your DPT degree in three years or an equivalent of nine semesters. During the last year, all learners have to do a one-year internship in a clinic setting to finish the degree program.
- Washington University in St. Louis, St. Louis, MO
The Washington University Program in physical therapy is a three-year degree program, which couples classroom and clinical learning to prepare the learners for professional leadership. The respected faculty of the degree program is recognized for its extensive command over neuromuscular and orthopedic conditions along with in-depth knowledge of movement impairment classification.

The University of Delaware DPT program is an institution-based extensive physical therapist educational degree program. The coursework is intended to develop lifelong learning skills among the learners and enable them to become pioneers in their respective careers.
The degree program utilizes professors who are well-known experts to help learners establish the relationship between clinical research and practice. The professors of the DPT degree program believe that the institution is a suitable environment to educate and prepare future physical therapists.
- University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA
The Department of Rehabilitation Therapies is located within the University of Iowa Hospitals. The Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences has degrees such as DPT, MA, and PhD.
As a professional clinical entry-level degree program, the doctor of physical therapy or DPT grants admission to about 40 learners in July every year. The degree program takes two and a half years of coursework and contains 35 weeks of clinical education experience (full-time). If candidates finish the coursework satisfactorily, they shall be allowed to partake in a state-administered national licensing examination.
